Care Without Cost Barriers

Compassionate, Confidential, High-Quality Mental Health Care:  A practice rooted in repair, responsibility, and care

I believe deeply that everyone deserves access to compassionate, high-quality mental health care that honors their full humanity and lived experience.

In Jewish tradition, tikkun olam is often translated as repairing the world. But its deeper meaning is more expansive: to tend to what is broken, to improve what exists, and to take responsibility for making life more whole - for ourselves, for one another, and for the communities we belong to.

My practice is grounded in this value.

Accessible Mental Health Support for Kamaʻāina

Therapy, at its core, is an act of repair. Not because you are broken, but because life can wound, overwhelm, and exhaust even the strongest among us. My purpose is to offer care that is steady, ethical, and deeply human - care that restores dignity, safety, and connection.

Why I Practice Out-of-Network

While many clinicians in Hawai‘i accept insurance, I have chosen to remain out-of-network throughout my nearly 20 years in private practice. This decision allows me to protect your privacy and provide care without the limitations, disclosures, or constraints often required by insurance companies.

It gives us the freedom to focus fully on what matters most: your healing, your pace, and your story - without compromise.

Accessible Mental Health Support for Kamaʻāina

In deep appreciation for the privilege of living and working on Kānaka Maoli (Native Hawaiian) land, I am committed to making therapy accessible for Kamaʻāina (those native to or living in Hawai‘i).

I view this commitment as both kuleana (responsibility) and an expression of tikkun olam: repairing and supporting the well-being of the community that holds me. Accessibility is not charity. It is respect.

Cost will not be a barrier to working with me. If we decide we are a good fit, we will work together to determine a fee that feels fair, sustainable, and respectful to both of us and your ʻohana (family).
